Brian W. Myszkowski

I’m a freelance writer currently living in Philadelphia. I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism (with a concentration in magazine writing) from Temple University, having graduated summa cum laude in 2009. I’m a member of Kappa Tau Alpha, a journalism and mass communication honor society.

I gravitate toward long-form and feature writing, with a particular interest in profiling bands/musicians and subcultures. As the type of person who cannot leave a bookstore without perusing all of the magazines, I’m especially enthusiastic about small, independent publications.

I’m an avid reader of post-modern novels and music/subculture magazines. I also enjoy collecting vinyl, watching animation/films, cooking vegan food, and going to shows.
