Philadelphia Neighborhoods
Multimedia Urban Reporting Lab
January 2009–May 2009
At one of the largest functioning multimedia news lab in Philadelphia, I was responsible for producing locally-based stories that were not covered by the media at large. My numerous responsibilities included conducting research and interviews, writing articles and blogs, taking photographs, and filming, editing and producing video pieces for the Philadelphia Neighborhoods website.

I am adept at using the following software and equipment:

  • Final Cut Pro
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Dreamweaver
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Digital and film photography
  • Digital video cameras
  • Digital video tape decks

My speciality in journalism studies centered on magazine journalism. My education and experience predominantly centers around writing, editing, and design for magazines. I have been trained in the use of the Associated Press writing style.
